Adrie Groeneweg had a dream that started in Hull, IA, in 1981, when he was just 19 years old. It was simple. Why does everyone have to drive out of town to get a pizza? I live in CA, so there's no Pizza Ranch here, but if I'm ever in one of the above states, I will definitely visit the restaurant. It sounds like a really wonderful and encouraging place to eat.
On June 2, 2015, Pizza Ranch released a CD called Living Hope containing twelve songs from many of their favorite Christian artists. Most of the songs are brand-new and written exclusively for this CD around the theme of Hope. Artists include Colton Dixon, Francesca Batistelli, Ellie Holcomb, Sidewalk Prophets, Kevin Max, Bart Millard, Passion Band featuring Kristian Stanfill, Michael W. Smith, and Mark Schultz.
The CD will be available to purchase for $5 plus tax exclusively in Pizza Ranch restaurants or for download at pizzaranch.com/livinghope through August 31.

I was excited to be able to review the Living Hope CD because it has my favorite singer on it - Michael W. Smith. I have liked Colton Dixon since I first saw him on American Idol, so it's neat that he's on this CD too. I also like Mark Schultz, so it was nice to hear him on this album. Also, I have heard the name of almost everyone else on the album from listening to a Christian radio station every day. When I first listened to the CD, I was having a pretty bad, discouraging week. As I listened to each song on the Living Hope CD, it really was just that, living hope! As song after song played, I felt more and more encouraged by the words of the songs. I started feeling my burdens lifted and was filled with the joy of the Lord. I will definitely listen to this CD again and again.
