Lemon Garlic Hummus #Recipe

Since we've had to start following a heart healthy diet a couple of years ago, I've found a lot of different foods that we've never tried before. Hummus is one of those foods that's new to us, but luckily, we all think it's delicious. So, here is a recipe for Lemon Garlic Hummus. It's our favorite hummus recipe.

This recipe is quick and easy to make and only has 5 ingredients.

In a food processor, combine the oil, lemon juice, beans, garlic and salt.

Cover and process until smooth. Transfer to a small bowl. I refrigerate it until we're ready to eat it.

Serve with pita wedges. We used Nahn bread, that was a sample at Costco. We tried it and really liked it, so we bought some to have with our hummus. We preferred this hummus I make over the one served for the sample at Costco; plus it's cheaper to make your own. We also eat our hummus with whole wheat pita bread.
