Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collection Review and Giveaway

As a Purex Insider, I was sent two Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collections Kits to review. Richard Garay was inspired to design this line by his passion for paper crafts, event hosting and handmade greetings. Everything in the kits are coordinated so they are easy and fun to put together. The kits are a complete collection of dies, stamps, paper, inks and accessories that help you create one-of-a-kind cards, gifts, scrapbook layouts and more. If you want to find out more about these Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collections, you can visit their website.

Celebrate Party Hat Card is the first kit I was sent to make. There are step-by-step instructions to follow to make it easy to make. My 15 year old daughter wanted to make this one. You put all the pieces together with foam squares. There are only enough foam squares to use one for each thing you stick on. The directions were easy to follow, but my daughter did not enjoy making this. The foam squares make everything stick up, which can be a nice effect, but on this card, it just made everything stick up way too much. The foam squares did hold everything together, but my daughter said she wouldn't give this to anyone. There were also supposed to be sequins in this kit, but they weren't in there.

It didn't turn out as nice as the picture on the package, although I don't think anything ever does.

Best Day Ever Treat Bag was the second kit I was sent to make. I made this one. There are also step-by-step instructions to follow so it's easy to make. What I didn't realize until I opened the kit, was the kit pieces were meant to be shared. The sequins we needed for the card were in this kit, and the foam squares from the card kit, were supposed to be shared with this kit. So, I glued the pieces together instead.

This actually worked very well. This treat bag was very easy to make and turned out cute.

I was also sent a Stamp set to give away to 1 of you. All you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form below, fill out one option or as many as you want. The giveaway ends at 12:00 a.m. eastern time on 07/31/14.
